Chris: Everybody's life for the time being
You'll need to fix that bench...
Chris: Well err..
Plenty work to do though Chris smile
Chris: I'm going to have to think about this Frank

Yes...get rid of all those multi-person seeting facilities at once!
Chris: Anyone trying to sit here would soon feel the force of gravity

You have worked very hard at regenerating that 20th century bench.
Was that glassframe the same one that was there a few years ago. So you extension hasn’t been completed then.
Chris: Planning can take a long time

Hooray! Benchie features again. I have to say, though, that there seems to have been little progress with it since it last appeared. Still, Rome wasn't built in a day so I'm told.
Chris: In my case nothing was built in a day, or any number of years actually..
Pas de choix ....il y a du travail là  pour s'occuper !

Haha- yes, now you have the time to repair Benchie and she will be happy! She looks to have suffered so much in the last years.
Chris: We've all suffered Philine
I had a visitor that stayed at the opposite end of the room. Isn't life fun!?
Chris: How did you communicate?

Ah I’m glad to see that you bench has not been forgotten Tiff. Is there to be another public enquiry before you get the go-ahead for the restoration works.
Chris: I might need planning permission Chad; these things can take a long time

Craftsmen are allowed here to be still working. I see this bench is ideal for two persons to have the ordered 'social distancing' of 1,5 -2 mtr. for sitting.
Chris: One day I might consider replacing the bench with a new one. Dear old Benchy is beyond repair I regret to say..
It is somehow reassuring that benchie is deteriorating in its own time with no assistance from you and that window is still leaning majestically against the wall. You are the master of non DIY
Chris: Remember this, EVERYONE is good at something..

We must all TAKE HEART in these times of mass inactivity

I love your insouciant attitude to things that may need a little attention around you. We have a bench with a leg off - perhaps when you have had the expertise of repairing yours, you could help with ours?
Chris: I could come and look at it Lisl, I'm very good at looking
are you going for the glass pane or the bench, Chris?
Chris: Oh neither Ayush..
I note the bench is now only half of what it used to be, it's almost possible to think it might be beyond economic repair.
Chris: Poor old thing..
good for you Chris... at least i have Penny to isolate with me...
that screen will not put itself up on the window....petersmile
Chris: Are there many Covid cases in Canada Peter?
I think, perhaps, that a NEW BENCH is needed?
Chris: No doubt about that Tom..
