Meterage for the Many...
Chris: It's all so old fashioned now, all those dials. Amperes indeed..
Anne would make wonderful pictures using these
Chris: Let us try to decode your statement: -

a) This is a load of rubbish

b) The composition is dire

c) There is someone else with far greater talent than me..

Aaaahhh.. a bit of nostalgia . I had a car that an ammeter and an oil pressure gauge; happy days. Now I have a car which on a misty day, displays a light on the dashboard that gives the impression that I have crashed into the car in front of me. An unnecessary indicator, I believe; I'm not yet that senile that I can't work out for myself if I have actually crashed into the car in front of me.
Chris: My car tells me when to change gear, a totally pointless feature

Now if it told me the lottery numbers instead..

No one has praised you for giving them some nostalgia, Chris
Chris: I suspect all these things do is evoke memories of when cars frequently broke down Lisl..
For those having to relieve some pressure in this over-cooked world.
Chris: A good way of putting it..
What an interesting pile of stuff from days gone by, everything was so simple back then.
Chris: Yes Brian, now it's complicated
Quite an assortment!
Chris: I'm sure you can remember these sorts of things Tom, I certainly can..
