"A choccamochcamacchiatochincolatte with double shot of caramel with almond milk, please." "Certainly, it will at the end of the counter in around three weeks' time; please wear these ear defenders whilst the machine makes a lot of noise and I have to then bang the jug on the counter 500 times."
Chris: And it will cost you £4 plus a tip sir..
It seems that almost every cafe one goes in these days the person who makes the coffee, in whatever fashion, is now called the Barista, latest in-word I guess.
Chris: The word barista is an Italian word, and in Italy, a barista is a male or female "bartender", who typically works behind a counter, serving hot drinks (such as espresso), cold alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and snacks.

The native plural in English is baristas, while in Italian the plural is baristi for masculine (baristi: "barmen", "bartenders"wink or bariste for feminine (bariste: "barmaids"wink.
