I presume ( in my ignorance ) that this is a fine view of Bath, Chris ?
Chris: A part of Bath Frank. This pic taken as I walked down the hill from home into the city about a week ago.
The rows of houses all the same color is very pleasing
Chris: I took the picture because of the snow Elizabeth, it's quite unusual to see this sight
Une photo enneigée bien vue ...magnifique !
Chris: Near where I live Claudine, taken during the recent snowy spell
You got quite a bit more than our own dusting (twice), Chris. It's very pleasing to the eye.
Chris: Yes indeed Ginnie, around six inches, which is a lot for us..

This is an amazing shot and I love the snow here. What a delight to wake up and have this "winter-wonder-land"......
Chris: Yes it was Astrid. And it did the decent thing of melting and vanishing within two days. Just enough time to appreciate it..

Hahah!! Perhaps we may never see such a sight again. A joy for the eyes.
Chris: I remember about a decade ago, when I was still at work, scientists opining because of global warming we will never see snow again. Silly sods!
OK so you had snow.
Chris: Yeah - we've got buildings too!

All those white tops Tiff, picturesque but, still no sign of the promised global warming.
Chris: We in Bathamptonshire are suffering global Coolidge Chad
A nice view above the city. We never even had as much as a single flake of snow, we were very lucky.
Chris: Yes you were Brian
Makes me want to grab toboggans and a couple of grandchildren. We have only ice. I would certainly prefer snow.
Chris: Snow is pretty, ice rarely is

This is quite a sight. Something like a cross between "Little snowflake" and "Little boxes"
Chris: And if you take the picture as a whole, little talent..
Your snow picture is really nice, Chris. If only our snowfall, like yours, would do the decent thing and vanish within two days. That would be appreciated, especially by us seniors who have to negotiate the slippery ice covering the sidewalks.
Chris: It doesn't always do this Bev. Long ago, in 1962-3, in fact, it hung around for freezing months, melting slightly by day and returning to ice at night
it all looks so neat and uniform, at least at a first glance, Chris.
Chris: I suppose it was really Ayush
was there a time when you would get snow every year or so Chris?....petersmile
Chris: Only every few years Peter, we get more these days
