Couple of weeks of sunny weather should finish it off nicely, Chris.

I hope there is a local market for it, cos I doubt you have a snowflakes chance in hell of selling it to your European neighbours after giving them the finger recently.
Chris: We will make ENORMOUS amounts of bread and beer out of it Ray

It must be very difficult being a farmer when your financial stability is at the mercy of the weather. The searing heat of this week should maybe help this, although it could all be flattened by torrential storms a few days later. And on that cheery note...
Chris: Today should be temperature-wise about as hot as hell. I hope when I am in Cornwall next week visiting Pauline the weather does the DECENT THING and stays sunny..

Yes, the cornfields are - mostly - in a good state - the new year is stepping forward with giant's steps.
Chris: We have to be mindful Philine, living every day to the full and trying to make the best of living in the present

Talking about weather with Mr. ARolfe - we are expecting the hottest day of this year today - I am glad to have such a cool apartment and I'll stay mostly at home - now aquafitness.
Chris: I shall be walking to Bath, meeting Blackdog for coffee and later taking the bus back to my house Philine
The paddling pool is out and filled, so even if Joseph doesn't want to go in it I will

Nice summer snap
Chris: If you get in the paddling pool there is no need to post a picture of yourself..
Indeed Tiff, not long before it is processed into something else.
Chris: I took this whilst on my journey to your gutteridge seminar last week Chad

Delightfully pastoral. The next few days should finish it off. Liking the low PoV .
Chris: Thank you Mike, hopefully the weather today will have ripened it all off nicely
Nearly where?
Chris: Nearly at the point of harvesting Tom
One of my favorite sights in the world, Chris. Every day there are differences in the various fields.
Chris: A favourite sight of mine too Mary

A lovely summer's picture Chris.
Chris: Thank you kindly Anne
great shot, Chris. i like this landscape very much and a striking departure from your people photographs.
Chris: I really aught to do more of this kind of thing I guess Ayush..
Where? Oh I see...
Chris: Yes - harvest time Frank
Nice effect of the light through the ears of the crop. Hopefully the expected storms won't damage the crops now they are this far on.
Chris: Well hopefully not Brian, it must be a very anxious time for farmers
