Nice to know that, when we have obliterated ourselves or morphed into trans-human avatars, the flora will be healthy enough to take over the running of the Universe.
Chris: And even though the chlorophyll has evaporated there will be just enough brown stuff in the foliage to prevent it from failing its how-to-get-on-without-people exams

I have the feel to be in Italy - I see LadyK!
Chris: Indeed so Philine - Lady K in the garden at Colton Fishacre
This is a timeless image due to your treatment of this here Chris....petersmile
Chris: That is what I was hoping to achieve: thank you Peter
Looks very lush!
Chris: Indeed so Elizabeth, this is what is known as the English Riviera

I didn't know you had a sea view from your estate. IS that her Ladyship checking things out? I have a feel of the Raj here.
Chris: She is checking to see the staff are, as per my instructions, flogging themselves half to death in the grinds of the hice. The prospects for our social status depends on this..
Ah this is a NT property I haven't been to. I assume then that the house yesterday was here too.
Chris: Indeed so - worth the motorway drive to experience

The sea the sea.
Chris: Yes..yes??
The sepia gives and old timey feel. The plants look like they are dying though.
Chris: Thank you Mary: the plants were in reality fine
Packing out the frame nicely and a pleasing leading line for depth Chris.
Chris: Much obliged to you Fred
Definitely has a Victorian feel to it, Chris - nice one.
Chris: Life without twiddleage would be as primitive as life without inter-connectivity

This could be the French Riviera, but I am sure you are closer to home. I like the unusual composition - it works well at taking the eye for a walk.
Chris: This is south Devon Mike, taken on a fine day at the height of summer
