Today I am embarking on a three day photography course run by A C Gutteridge, he promises attendees they will be able to take Beter Pikchers as a result.

I hope I've done the right thing..

Does it come with 30 day money-back promises?
Chris: No it doesn't Ray, it comes with the near certainty that I have wasted most of my life..

You have certainly done the right thing Mr Phillips, I just hope that Bill brings along his twiddling rods.
Chris: If he could twiddle Trim from chasing every woman in sight it would be a good thing - and a minor miracle too
I have packed my shipping trunk and Arctic gear as instructed. Do I REALLY need to take an Elephant gun?
Chris: Yes you do, and don't forget the periscope too
Lol @Bill sounds like great fun, canny wait to see the results, they will be very interesting.
Chris: I get the horrible feeling my photo-technique is about to be destroyed as a result of this Scotia..
Stay in bed and lock the doors.help is coming.
Chris: Alright - I'll barricade myself in!

I for one shan't hold my breath - have a good time chaps.
Chris: Well..at the last the sun is shining
Your positive attitude will bring excellent results, Chris. Do not discard the GoPro!
Chris: I'm glad you think so J C

Oh, dear Selfie, you have now the lost-child-face again or you arfe looking a bit 'timplich' (a German word I cannot translate, sorry), I think you could learn more from a donkey and a goat than from this n********c teacher Mr. Gutteridge.
Chris: You are quite right Philine: I am mad to enlist in this aesthetically destructive fantasy..
May the force be with you...You have a man bag?
Chris: And a sick bag..
Chris: Why?
Hope you have a compass and Kendal Mint Cake as well, Chris.
Chris: I have neither Pauline, at the time of sending this I am in Porlock Weir with other unmentionable persons from Shutterchance. At least the weather is nice..
I reminded AC to take a camera. He said he usually gets along fine without one but for me , he would do that. What a photography teacher!!!

What is the wonderful plant trying to cover the grotto beside you?
Chris: We call this thing Elephant's Ears Mary: I expect you can see why

You look slightly concerned at the start of this course, Chris. Don't worry, it may prove to be useful in that you might discover techniques you definitely want to reject.
Chris: As always you are the voice of reason and sanity Penny. I am here in deepest Somerset with Doveton, Trim & Phillips and everything they have said to me, so far, I am happy to reject.

Oh dear! Luckily, as you took no notice of Mr Trim's coaching, you will be equally unreceptive to the guidance of Mr Gutteridge. I'm disappointing to see you are not wearing a pith helmet for such an epic adventure. Have you alerted the RNLI should you encounter serious flooding?
Chris: Everything Mr Gutteridge has taught us, so far, I can definitely say I have rejected utterly Alan.
Really? Could I interest you in some money making bonds I've just thought of? Interesting shot though, is that niche a doorway?
Chris: It's just a hole in my wall for a plant John..

Hope you had fun smile
Chris: We are having " fun" now Shane
My photography seminar was inspiring and I learned more in 4 hours than I did in 4 years! I hope you enjoy.

I like this shot, by the way.
Chris: Thank you Hollie
And you had to break out of jail to do it!?
Chris: I beg your pardon!!
it looks like serious business Chris... but we are never too old to learn... enjoy your adventure... and smile a bit moregrin
Chris: Thank you Peter
