Trim, Chad and Bill (l to r). There is definitely something to be said for recognizing each other from behind. Hmmmm.
Chris: Hehehe - I think we're all fairly distinctive from any angle Ginnie

From a Jack to a King ...

From 3 Stooges to 4 Seasons? The guy on the right looks like winter, the one on the left is close to winter, so he must be autumn. The one in the middle is spring, since he has the most colour left. The one holding the camera is a dry summer.
Chris: Hahaha - thank you Louis
Last of the summer wine.
Chris: Last of the summer dregs

Hahaha- a lovely pic- some essential modifications- a newly restored bench, a fence, Mr. Trim's crossed legs, no brolly weather as Richard prophezised ...- but the Sirs are still stopping talking and contemplating whilst sitting there like silent puppets (what did happen so that they lost their voices?) - I would like to touch them lightly or to run my fingers through their hairs ... or Bill or yourself should tell a joke or make some silly fun...
a nice photo- idea of the quartette!
Chris: We were priviliaged & honoured to have Mr Trim's contribution to our day Philine. This was taken on Beechen Cliff in Bath

"They determined on walking round Beechen Cliff, that noble hill whose beautiful verdure and hanging coppice render it so striking an object from almost every opening in Bath.

“I never look at it,” said Catherine, as they walked along the side of the river, “without thinking of the south of France.”

“You have been abroad then?” said Henry, a little surprised.

“Oh! No, I only mean what I have read about. It always puts me in mind of the country that Emily and her father travelled through, in The Mysteries of Udolpho. – Jane Austen, Northanger Abbey

Oh, as we read, just a fine place for some nice conversation! But sometimes silence may be necessary, too!
Chris: Thank you Philine: I'm sure Beechen Cliff has featured in many historical novels
As I said the Richard and Bill, Great fun.
Chris: I suppose we'll all grow up one day Sheila
We have evident proof now that a normal bench can hold 3 average built male adults
Chris: Well hurrah for normal benches - that's what I say Marion
Just been to the pub and off down the cafe. Let's hope Nora Batty doesn't come along with a broomstick
Chris: It is a bit reminiscent isn't it Janet
You've been shuffled. Does that mean you're all cards?
Chris: If we're all Kings which suite does each of us represent?
seems like something was blocking your view wink
Chris: It was a lovely view of the bushes Charles!
This matches up nicely with Chads posting except the three men on his appear to be in Lillput land.
Chris: I fear Chad may be fading away Brian...

I love all the green you've captured here, Chris, complimented by those three orbs of grey. Nice.
Chris: Hehehe - thank you Bev!
From "Last of the Summer Ale" perhaps?
Chris: I pray that day never comes Tom
