A bottle of parsnip wine can go a long way, Chris, for just about anything, I presume?! grin Les' brown paper bag is more true for some people than you realize.
Chris: I don't have a drink problem Ginnie: only a bench problem!

What happened to the bigger bottles??? still in the shed for 'better' times....
Don't go too fast today or you might 'miss' the bench completely...
Have a great weekend.
Chris: Thank you Astrid: you too
Definitely bench marked Chris ... Are you sure retirement was the right move

Oh my, you look like a clochard and I'm afraid some minutes later you might lie under the bench - wehe, wehe, Chris, you look like going astray..., your poor wife!
Chris: Oh good heavens Philine: for the sake of my family I must change everything at once!
Pull yourself together man.
Chris: Surely you're not suggesting I've let my standards slip??
A bottle of sparkling water would of been better for a man of your age Chris.
Chris: I'm beginning to think you're right Mick...

Chris: Thank you Vintage
the bench still lookers drunker.
Chris: Hahaha - nice one!
You drunken old fool. Incidently, do I detect some improvement in the bench Tiff.

"some improvement"? Oh, no, I notice the whole place to look very neglected (bench, pavement, rain pipe...), no wonder if its owner is drinking copiously (we have in our language some very drastic expressions to describe those fellows!) -and I fear, I fear after having been thrown out of the house he will own only true old benchie as his poor home and as his last dear companion- but he promised to "change everything at once"- “Wait and see and drink some tea” (no parsnip wine- das lass sein!)!
Chris: My environment has been themed Philine: I'm glad you noticed
Lol...Lol...If this is what parsnip wine does to you, I shall order a crate and have a big party! smile
Chris: You'll have a short life but a happy one Linda!
Up before the bench again? I'm all for growing old disgracefully.
Chris: Oh yes John: you can't beat it!
Clearly the problem of the bench has beaten you at last. That was a nice thought on Mr. Evans part.
Chris: He's a decent fellow Sheila

Hhhehehe.. yes, much better than doing that manual work. The bench can wait!
Chris: I've forgotten what I'm meant to be doing to it now....
Not much being done to the bench today then Chris.
Chris: I slight hiatus Brian - hic!
Ah - having only one leg can let a man down - especially when the new double-glazing doesn't fit - but is that olive oil he's drining?
Chris: Olive oil wouldn't get you into this state...

You are still lying there- over the whole yesterday's day and over night- have I to call an ambulance man to help you up....? You are to heavy for me!
Chris: I'm ok Philine: the effect will wear off after a couple of days
lmao grin nice one Chris.
Chris: Thank you Tim
Well your Caps on straight for a Hip-Hop Guy! Where you trying to break dance? lol
Chris: Well I wasn't trying to break anything else!
I could understand your state if it was parsnip wine, but it looks more like medicinesmile
