How interesting!

I wonder what the cat thinks of it...
Chris: It's just another day in the cathedral cat's life Ray. He takes it all in his stride..
C'est un bel endroit. Jolie sculpture.
Chris: Thank you Martine, this is the cloister of Wells Cathedral
How great, like the cat,Chris.
Chris: He is the cathedral cat Frank, chief mouser..

Are we in Wells? If so, that's the last time I saw a cat in the the cloisters. If its the same cat, it will be around 45 human years old now. I like the faces in the structure in the foreground.
Chris: Yes indeed it's Wells with cathedral cat. I expect it's a tradition here. The artwork is from a recent exhibition

My eyes are attracted by those strange faces - and I see Louis, the lovely church cat, if we are in Wells Cathedral?
Chris: I had no idea of the cat's name Philine. You know a great deal more than me, but you always did..

I love the characters on the stone block. That is just one cool cat.
Chris: The cat lives in greater style and comfort than all the rest of us. It represents privilege, and is an offence to our Corbynistic ideals.
The Wells cathedral cat! They used to have one who slept on the high altar
Chris: Well you would I suppose, if it was nice & warm

I posted a photo of cat Louis on SC some years ago -https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-somerset-30067283
Chris: I am obliged to you Philine

Someone seems to have set some muesli into stone blacks Tiff. I like the cat having a wash.
Chris: Muesli has a multitude of uses Chad, mixed with glue it can be a solid building material
J'affectionne particulierement ces lieux .., le pilier à  l'entrée est sculptés de choses pas vraiment sympathiques ..
Chris: This is the cloister of Wells Cathedral Claudine. The cat Louis lives there, the sculpture is left from an art event

I am surprised that Bill and Chad haven't beaten you up over your tilted image.
Chris: They know, and you obviously don't, that tillage can be frightful, as in a sea horizon. But in this sort of inner arena it makes not one small jot!
I bet most big churches have a cat.
Chris: This is an interesting question Brian
I am so glad you said the artwork was from a recent exhibition because my head was shaking inside.
Chris: I would not like your head to shake inside Mary
Good to see the cathedral cat! No doubt it earns its keep.
Chris: I'm sure it does Tom
fun sculpture
