Huh! Where are their smartphones!
Chris: This must be the last generation for whom smartphones are absent and irrelevant

Probably the younger element of most congregations in the non-happy-clappy churches.

Two persons seem to be en trance. I agree with Elizabeth.
Chris: We were all in a trance Philine, listening to a man telling us of the building's history..
The Tory party at prayer.
Chris: That's what they used to say..

My paternal grandmother who in reality was from a working class background developed delusions of grandeur and projected a pseudo snobbishness. She looked just like the lady on the far right.
Chris: There is no snobbishness here Comrade, this is simply how middle England is. The Halesworth Revolutionary Collective would not understand..
One person seems to be looking to heaven.
Chris: Right place to..
We have a lady at our church who always wears a hat when she comes in, even if she's only there to take her turn on doing the church cleaning, none of the other ladies ever wear hats at all.
Chris: Times certainly change Brian, all women wore hats in church when I was a child
The Tory party at prayer - and, boy, do they need forgiveness!
Chris: You said it Tom..
