A summer retreat?
Chris: The autumn of their lives spent sitting on the porch reminiscing
It looks very pleasant Chris.
Chris: It is indeed Frank. This is Beer in Devon, very close to the seafront with stirring views

You caught a very personal moment here, Chris.
Chris: Thank you Beth. These inhabitants are spending the summer enjoying the weather and views
i like the stone blocks with all the neat white paint, Chris. looks like a quiet place.
Chris: It is indeed a lovely quiet place Ayush
This is a just lovely! I could sit there a while.
Chris: I think many of us could Elizabeth. From where they sit, beyond the photographer, they can enjoy sea views
I like it better knowing there are sea views behind you, Chris. Otherwise I'm afraid I would feel my boundaries were being encroached upon.
Chris: Yes this is a lovely place in the resort of Beer Ginnie

This is a wonderful picture, Chris and I read your replies. I know Beer is a place you love to come.
My eyes were drawn to the left window, the staircase and then to the right, the ice cream...and to the middle. I do hope you got yourself an ice cream after taken this picture.
Chris: Yes I did have an ice cream later Astrid, this was a warm summer day

Hmm ... sitting on the street breathing in all the diesel fumes from passing tourist vehicles and farm vehicles. Hmmm l would have preferred to sit in the back garden.
Chris: Being frail they need contact with fellow human beings. There are no lorries on this road..
A charming house. It seems a strange place to sit though. Handy for breathing in the traffic fumes though
Chris: Not much traffic here in Beer Bill

A pleasing building Tiff, nut the fake leaded lights is unnecessary.

The two silver sleeks are filling the door space. Could be hazardous for her shins - or is that their apartment door?
Chris: The place is their residence Louis
They've certainly made the front of their house look very attractive, as for picking up traffic fumes I seem to recall very little traffic goes down the main street to the beach area.
Chris: Yes that is indeed so Brian
sweet building. hotel ?
Chris: Their home I believe CrashRyan

I can well imagine the life style of this upper-middle class couple - an afternoon tea would be welcomed now, but there is no place for a table. I don't think that they would lick an ice-cream as the people on the right and us would do.
Chris: I expect they would enjoy tea indoors Philine
Magnifique , voilà  un decor accueillant !
Chris: Oh thank you Claudine!
Very relaxed Chris.......they really seem to be enjoying the moment smile
Chris: Looks like a happy retirement to me Martin..

Just sitting and watching the world pass by. A little table for the tea tray would be nice.
Chris: In an ideal world certainly..
What is a four letter word for relaxed?
Chris: I am not sure Mary
