Chris, this is another wonderful street shot. Makes you wonder who wants to see the balloons.
Chris: Thank you kindly Beth. The shop I believe is a place that sells items for parties, kids' birthdays, that sort of thing..

Excellent!

I reminds me of an encounter I had in Australia with an enormous Great Dane that was taking a small woman for a walk.
Chris: Tip - if you buy a huge dog only do so if you are a muscled amazon yourself. Otherwise get a little thing. Dachshunds are very popular in the UK..
Jolie scène de rue avec ce beau chien blanc.
Chris: The dog is a Labrador, they are sweet tempered and friendly
Sweet!
Chris: Labradors are friendly and nice dogs

The English love for dogs is legendary! The curly lady looks a bit like a figure in Madame Tussauds' Cabinet.
Chris: You are absolutely right Philine. The woman could be made from wax. She has an almost cartoon-like appearance

What will happen with Larry, the"Chief Mouser to the Cabinet"?
Chris: I think Larry's position is safe Philine. I believe him to be in the employ of the civil service

I think the dig was looking for the balloons. I have load of LPs that I keep meaning to sell but I never get round to it.
Chris: Follow the Boris example - ACTION THIS DAY

..dog.. not dig!
Chris: I know, sodding predictive text..
I thought the lady was a statue when I first looked at this, Chris. My daughter has an English Mastiff; a large dog I could never control if taken on a walk.
Chris: I'm afraid dogs have to be shown who is boss Bev..

They're canny critters
it is a beautiful dog Chris... its owner has a very strange smile....petersmile
Chris: I agree with what you say Peter
The dog looks totally unimpressed
Chris: Well it would, food or toys are not involved..
