J'aime ce qui est noté sur le panneau.
Chris: True isn't it Martine..
i think that realization will not have to wait till the last tree/fish/stream, Chris. apart from you, absolutely no one else is looking at her placard.
Chris: Hopefully people will wake up to these warnings in good time Ayush..

That looks a dead tree [cardboard] placard, Chris...just saying...
Chris: Recycling at its most picturesque

Chris: No one would have said this a decade or two ago Ginnie. So this is progress of a sort..

That is a lot of text to read and we can start a whole discussion here, Chris. We all talk about "we should do this or we should do that", but what is really been done?
Chris: Good question Astrid. Here in the UK the current talk is of carbon reductions
Une manifestation utile !
Chris: Yes indeed, thank you Claudine

Is she American, I wonder, as she has used the American spelling of “realise”? I think world governments need to wake to the fact that the population explosive areound the world cannot be sustained. There are only finite resources.
Chris: I agree with your every sentiment, apart from your love of rain..

This picture could be taken in our country at "Friday for Future" - the youth is more interested in politics now again!
Chris: Youth being interested in politics is a good thing Philine
Apparently we contribute 1.2% of the world's production of greenhouse gases. China produce over 27% and the US 14.75%.
Chris: Says it all, doesn't it..

If we only produce 1.2% as Bill states, no wonder it’s so bloomin’ cold all the time.
Chris: I've told you before Chad, wear woolly socks

The other day I have seen a video of how the people in Iceland has forced some providers not to pack stuff unnecessary into cartons. The result is, you will buy your toothpaste tube (for instance) without a carton packing.

The girl's message relates the gist of the misuse issue. There is not one person ignoring the issue of pollution and general misuse, that doesn't do it for money (profit), ignorance or personal comfort (laziness).
Chris: I suppose packing aught to be taxed Louis. That would put a stop to excessive cardboard misuse..
When will they ever learn? If I was clever enough I would add musical notes.
Chris: Yes indeed Mary..
