An important cause and a great capture. Perhaps they will have an impact.
Chris: This was a national event a couple of weeks ago Beth. Taken in Bristol, let us sincerely hope they do have a positive effect..
Nice to document this... these demonstrations are important and I think will be remembered for a long time!
Chris: Yes indeed so Elizabeth. It's always worth trying to record a little history if it's happening around you
They are the ones who will suffer the consequences, well caught Chris.
Chris: They certainly will Frank..
Ici aussi, nous avons eu des manifestations pour le climat.
Chris: I think they are important events Martine

I beat the beer will taste good after all that protesting...
Chris: There are several ways to work up a good thirst - as well you know!

Crisis in many regards in Britain and otherwhere - we had similar protests, esp. on 'Friday for Future' with pupils and students!
Chris: Nice to know the feelings on this issue are universal Philine
Des manifestations bien justifiées et nos jeunes en seront le meilleur porte parole
Chris: I agree with what you say Claudine
Good for them, Chris, to make this protest, and good for you to "preach" it here. SOMETHING needs to happen!
Chris: Yes it does need to happen Ginnie. I always think of the Netherlands as being well to the fore on these issues

I wonder if these youths have the same regard to those that throw empty crisp packets into my garden o their way to school and chuck their used McDonald boxes out of the car windows? They would be better off being school and learning that you should not have a a lowercase "i" with the rest of the letters being capitalised.
Chris: There is a great deal in what you say. The truth is we are a nation of morons. Always have been, always will be..

I know that all over there are protests like this. On that Friday, which Philine is referring to, students just skipped school and went an mass on the streets.... good for them, they are the ones who will inherit all "our mess"....
Chris: And it is good to see they have a sense of self preservation Astrid..

It is a crisis Tiff, even the fountains are drying up.
Chris: And they should be flowing with nectar, honey, ambrosia and other sweet things Chad
It is good to see young folk wanting to change the world for the better. Sadly they will soon be bogged down by jobs, mortgages and sprogs and idealism will have faded away
Chris: Yes quite. I should have stopped sufficiently long enough to tell 'em it's all a waste of time..

The two in the corner (to the right) are doing graffiti or snogging. Young man on top is trying to dance with the statue. Not much energy with the rest - even for this good cause.
Chris: There is definitely a certain amount of apathy present here Louis
Good for them!
Chris: They are about the future Tom

We need to trust in Nature to heal herself and the most important thing is to focus on the beauties of the world. Although protests are important, it's essential not to focus on the negative outcome or that's what we'll get. We need to focus on the innate wisdom of Nature and Gaia to help sort it out for the best.

To quote Mother Theresa “I was once asked why I don't participate in anti-war demonstrations. I said that I will never do that, but as soon as you have a pro-peace rally, I'll be there.”
So it's no good just being anti-climate change. Of course we are. We need to be PRO the earth being safe and well, with all the creatures in it thriving and happy.
Chris: You are absolutely right Penny. I applaud your thinking on this
it's nice to see the young people demonstrate about the world that they will live with....petersmile
Chris: Yes indeed Peter, thank you..
Citizens are protesting worldwide. Does it help?
Chris: I suppose it does Mary
Pupil power, lets hope someone takes note of their concerns.
Chris: If this is world wide I expect it will be noticed Martin
