A great piece of street art Chris.
Chris: Yes indeed it is very accomplished Frank
Joli bouquet, j'aime les décorations murales.
Chris: Surprisingly nice isn't it..
A beautiful mural!
Chris: Unlike so many, it seeks to cheer..

I hope there is a ladder to get up to the restaurant Tiff.
Chris: Oh there must be Chad. Otherwise the joint would go to the wall

This mural looks quite more charming than the right one, but no Banksy!
Chris: Certainly not Banksy Philine. This is not sufficiently urban and in-your-face..
Très belle fresque de bienvenue
Chris: Indeed so Claudine, thank you
Awwwww. Gody (?) must have known spring was on its way! How lovely.
Chris: Charming isn't it Ginnie

A fine use of a featureless wall. It's good that the morons have not hopped on the top of the pizza joint ad added their own "improvements" to it.
Chris: Oh - give 'em time, in the early hours, after closing time..

I like this a lot, Chris. Some of these murals are so well done....
Chris: There is real talent here Astrid, and I am not talking about my photography..
another example of urban mural art skills and creative designs.

So many towns and cities have fine examples now.

I met a professional urban art muralist, nephew of a long time creativity friend from Paris.

Graffiti has gone so far in the past fed decades from tagging, defacing, social or political statements to advertisements to pure art.

Are there many others in Bristol?
Chris: There are many examples in Bristol Alan
I absolutely LOVE this! So many murals are about a place's history. My son and family returned home from their holiday in Bristol yesterday.
Chris: Maybe they noticed this example and others from Banksy as well?

Were the flowers painted to hide Bristol's drabnesss?
Not that I think Bristol as a drab city
Chris: Bristol was drab in the 1960s when I worked there. But no longer..

Lovely street art.
Chris: This is a particularly pleasing example Anne
There is a good picture of this on google maps street view
Chris: I'll check it out
This has almost a Central American or Mexican look to it, Chris.
Chris: Yes I suppose it does Bev..
Nice street art!
Chris: Not offensive in any way Tom..
I have enjoyed discovering such large scale urban art (highly skilled grafitti) for many years now.

Thanks for this one Chris
