Impressionnant tous ces oiseaux.
Chris: Starlings gathering at sunset
Wow! Great capture! Murmerations are amazing to watch, aren't they!
Chris: This is only one small fraction of what I experienced the other evening, millions upon millions of birds..

Quite wonderful!
Chris: I wish I could show you this Ray, it only happens for a few weeks in the year..
Wouah...ça fait presque peur ....

What a fabulous spectacle. I've only ever seen a murmuration once but it was mesmerising to watch.
Chris: The whole thing is phenomenal and only happens in late Feb, early March
The miracles of migration. Are they coming or going from or to where? What I know very little about birds.
Chris: Not migrating Sheila, more swarming together to roost
One of the great sights of nature
Chris: And so are you..

You really should clean the windscreen of your car Tiff.
Chris: My car is as spotless as the dinner plate belonging to W J Phillips (no relation) of Droitwich Spa

''millions and millions of birds'' Chris you have been overdosing
Chris: What you see here is but a small part of the whole thing Comrade - BELIEVE ME!
I don't recall ever having the chance to see a proper Murmuration even though I grew up in the country, they are an amazing gift of nature even if it is only on a video.
Chris: To see this in the flesh is a real experience Brian

When the sky gets dimmed by the locusts - oh sorry, they are murmuring birds.
Chris: Same effect isn't it..
Oh, how wonderful! We have small groupings island wide and see these large ones only in the autumn, opposite from your season.
Chris: The complete opposite Mary
we have swarms of Starlings in Athens too.
