Guardian...
Chris: Yes indeed, could be..
Celui-là  ne risque pas d'attirer les chasseurs.
Chris: And that is a good thing Martine..
I really like the way you've composed this, Chris, from the deer's POV. Well done.
Chris: I am obliged to you Ginnie

Somebody was very creative here, Chris. I like the people in the background. The deed does not have to leave the place to look for food.....
Chris: It can stay where it is and eat sandwiches from tourists Astrid..
Un refuge interessant avec pour garde un cerf qui ne risque rien !
Chris: The deer is a very tame one

Somewhere I've not been to for some years now; I don't recall the deer there (although there were plenty of old dears). Once the sprogs are back at school perhaps I'll have a visit.
Chris: If you do that give me a bell, just in case my hectic schedule has a gap in it..
I feel I should know where this is but don't!

Oh, now I recognise this building: The Gothic House in Stourhead Gardens . It was once lived in by gardeners who warmed up themselves, ate, drank or played cards there.
Chris: That is correct Philine
I so would love to have the wild materials for this type of sculpture. They would have to be put in the barn for the winter like real horses. I love it!
Chris: Clever art, isn't it..
That is a very well done sculpture, and I do like the old building.
Chris: The sculpture looks very lifelike
There are some of those wickerwork animals at Chatsworth.
Chris: Thank you for that information Tom
very well timed, Chris. the stag seems to be wary of the humans.
Chris: Yes it does Ayush
