Oh he's a bit creepy... smile
Chris: Very much so..
Sympathique cette citrouille.
Chris: It is pumpkin season again
This is wrong and funny in many ways. Awesome!
Chris: I think the whole set up to be slightly disturbing Rob..
I can just see the "children" making target practice fun, with conkers, of that scarecrow, Chris! smile
Chris: A distinct possibility Ginnie

I hope the wife is not looking for her husband, Chris. I think the children made him into a mummy and topped that off with a pumpkin.... the sign warned them all "children at play".... never trust those grin.....they should be at home with there iPhone.... wink...
Chris: When separated from their smartphones children are little more than a menace Astrid

Not the nicest place for children, but the sign might be useful.
Chris: I don't understand this place at all Philine, it is a mystery
C'est une idé epour rappeler aux enfants que c'etait bientôt Halloween , idée originale
Bonne journée
Chris: Thank you Claudine, I agree with you

The sign of an age of innocence when children could play in the street with the only risk they faces was falling in the pile of manure left by the milkman's horse and could play with screaming. We must be in ratholes; I see a typical resident in the garden.
Chris: There is also, for the sharp-eyed, a cat on the prowl..

See, that mere girl cannot ntake the ball from the boy Tiff. But the boy might, in turn, have met his match with the ‘thing’ in the garden.
Chris: I find the thing in the garden rather disturbing Chad

That is grotesque, Chris
Chris: I know Lisl, it is a garden in Wells, of all places..
Very creepy!
Chris: And the story behind it is unknowable..

We are down in Surrey with our grand kids whilst the parents skived off to Barcelona. We spent time carving pumpkin heads.. it was actually very demanding. The pulp and mush and seed s were saved to be used in a food item. This turned out to be a disgusting failure and was thrown in the bin.
To me, pumpkins are tedious boring tasteless and a complete overrated waste of time. Though the kids like the associated Halloween nonsense .
Chris: What a down to earth and unsentimental person you are, just as I am, hard-bitten, square jawed and flinty

You're right, pumpkins are ghastly..

An egg aging device on the left in front of the fence.
Chris: Everybody should have one
I would welcome this figure in my garden. I would move it around.
Chris: Wouldn't it scare the cats??

a bit of an alien touch there, Chris.
Chris: Very much so Ayush
Good grief.

That is grotesque
Chris: I know..
Halloween leaves me cold.....
Chris: Me too but it's getting BIGGER every year..
