Was this the moment you told them you knew Richard ? smile
Chris: More or less yes Frank
Elles ont l'air heureuses de se retrouver pour cet atelier.
Chris: They are happy workers indeed..
What... you took a needlepoint class? smile
Wonderful smiles here!
Chris: They are staff in their lunch-break at the National Theatre in London
You did something right to get every single one of them to smile, Chris. smile
Chris: Took Trimmy's advice Ginnie. But never again, it's like playing with nitro glycerine..

I never taught you to be a ‘silver tongued and smooth talking’ old git. Come clean, Chris... it is instinctive with you.
Chris: I am your humble apprentice O Master

I bet you showed your self knitted socks, Chris and you asked them for new patterns for a wool scarf....
Chris: You understand completely Astrid, I knew you would..

Chris: Thank you kindly Claudine
You told them you were from Somerset and those who had heard of Somerset told the others that you were just a harmless yokel
Chris: I doubt if anyone has heard of Somerset in Das Kapital..

Must be a great moment!
Chris: I doubt if this will ever happen again..
The National Theatre seems to employ a very congenial & happy staff, Chris. I'm sure each and everyone one of them were very pleased as punch to have you join the group during their lunch break.
Chris: I only asked for a quick snap Bev
Was it the red nose, shorts, and rugby boots with pompoms that did it?
Chris: Yes it was Tom!

Mr Trim must have been looking over your shoulder and said his usual stuff, to get them going. Or maybe they were surprised that you know him ...
Chris: He was in the building at the time, that's enough..
Was Trimbo drooling again.
Chris: He never stops..
