Jolie composition avec l'église dans le fond.

It's long, long ago that we had these wet days - and we are longing for them again. A nice scene with the horse and the reflection of the church!
Chris: We had overnight rain for the first time in weeks, today is cool and bright. Putting up this picture was real co-incidence

at Compton Dando. And how you hated wet days
Chris: Tell me about it Lisl. Now I LOVE them!

Aaah... I have dim distant memories of the good old days when we could rely on the occasional damp summer's day to relieve the searing heat of summer. I've been looking around the UK for places to escape this wretched inferno but alas most seems to be inflicted with the same atrocious weather. Then the thought of hordes of people and especially kids put me off and such travel plans.

I like the composition here; a fine-looking church.
Chris: Compton Dando near Bath

Hopefully those ghastly heat-wave temperatures will not revisit us this year
We had a little rain last night. Mind you according to the BBC weather app there was a 99% chance of rain between 6am and 7am....not a drop fell
Chris: Well you were the 1% place that stayed desert-like then. That's maths 4 U..
Somehow the horse and the church are connected in the great chain of being...
Chris: And so is the water Larry
I really like this picture, another of your fine rural shots. We had our very first rain for weeks at about 7 o'clock this morning when the heavens opened, half an hour later, apart from a wet garage roof there was no sign it had even happaned!
Chris: It has been similar here today too Brian
Just a horse and it's castle. Nothing we see here - at all!.
Chris: Thank you Mary
The horse is probably happy to have it rain!
Chris: Yes I expect it is Tom
Poor guy... Nice shot though!
Love that downpour - we get one like that nearly every afternoon... it's Heaven!
