Stop it , this is worse than Bill puts up.
Chris: WORSE than Bill!!
One of 230?!?
Chris: Ok I'll make it 229 then Larry..
I've learned to live with them here, cables everywhere!
Chris: I suppose that is the case over there but, as you know, we tend to hide them away in the UK

Que de fils, cela gâche un peu la nature.
Chris: We all have come to rely on electricity..
Well - they're there... I suppose you might as well include them!
Chris: A feature of the landscape Elizabeth
Kinda like cranes, then, Chris???

Now these look the sort that occur on foreign shores, not like our fine British pylons (which doubtless are all now owned and managed by foreigners). Alas, a necessary blot on the landscape.
Chris: Amazingly these were in Dorset!

I might be the only one who sees some beauty in this picture, Chris. I love the play of lines and the composition. And to be honest, where would we be if we don't have these??? No electricity stops the world in a split second......
Chris: We would have to send pictures though the post to each other

These look French
Chris: But in Dorset Lisl!
The new electrification I presume Tiff. It looks as if giant spiders have been at work Tiff.
Chris: Pylons in Dorset Chad
Not the most elegant ones with all the guy rope type supports
Chris: Yes I thought that too..

As long as we don't have power cuts ……...
Chris: As always you represent good old fashioned solid common sense
We sat out in the evening sunshine in a country pub garden on the banks of the River Soar yesterday evening with the beautiful Leicestershire countryside in front of us all spoilt by a similar line of pylons and cables running across the field on the other side of the river!!
Chris: Everything looks nice on hot summer evenings

Over here they have to put up some extra rigging on top so that the vultures don't electrocute themselves, when landing on top of the pylon.
Chris: Hahaha - sorry Louis, I shouldn't laugh..
Hideous things aren't they.
Chris: Totally Tom
