I like that the cathedral cat has mats to sit on...
Chris: No expense spared for the holy mouser Frank
I love a church with a cat!
Chris: I'm sure he does valuable work there too..
Ce chat a trouvé un endroit tranquille pour dormir.
Chris: Resting between catching mice perhaps..
You're really bringing back fond memories, Chris.
Chris: Well that is good Ginnie

Are we going to see ‘church mice’ next?
Chris: No we are not, the cat has eaten all of them

The cat certainly has a grand residence. I'm pleased that he has something comfortable to sit on. I wonder if he sits near the alter and decides to lick its backside during the Bishop's sermon?
Chris: I had not thought of that scenario myself

The church cat? I suppose it is sensible for large churches to have one Tiff.
Chris: The cathedral cat Chad. It has important work to do

I didn't put a comma after 'cat', in general I miss the commata on SC, sorry. I once posted a pic of Louis in the gift shop where he likes to rest in a basket. I know also some things about Louis, the cat, and his owner. I own a special book about church cats.
Chris: You are a fount of all knowledge Philine..
A cathedral cat! Every church should have one. Any picture with a cat in it is automatically a great picture!
Chris: You are a wonderful human being Larry
I like this, partly because I have a church shot coming up which includes the church cat smile
Chris: Aha - interesting!
Life is gooder at church with a cat.
Chris: Yes quite..

The Chapter House at Wells Cathedral is one of my favourite spaces ever. I also love the well-worn steps leading up to it, but I think they've spoiled their charm with some modern 'evening-up' now.
Chris: I hope we can go there together some bright day Penny
This the mark 2 cat isn't it?
Chris: Is it??

Hey, namesake. You have a right royal life, there on the red carpet. Now if you would find Ratty XVMLII - please spare it, it is has a minder.
Chris: Oh heck, yes Louis!!
I recall seeing this cat on my visit a couple of years ago.
Chris: It is probably known the world over Tom..
