Areas of Bath are changing fast, Chris

Not a path of Bath I recognise; is this to the west of the city?
Chris: It is indeed, the old industrial part of the city. We have replaced making stuff with consumerism..
What is that thing they are building in the background on the left?
Chris: Flats, or should I say apartments. I think there are three of these lovely things for us to feast our eyes upon

Social housing ... obviously
Chris: Not at all. Bath has a lot of people wishing to settle with very little space available

I had thought we were in Bristol and not in Bath - this seems to be a very busy, economic area.
Chris: Regeneration on a large scale in the ex industrial heartland of the city Philine

So modern...I never saw this side when visiting.
Chris: All this is still under construction Bonnie
I suppose in all honesty this is better than factories and warehouses.
Chris: They house lots of people Brian
A lot of construction going on there... will it be good... is it necessary?
Enjoyed the music anyway!
Chris: I think this will be better than what was here before, namely a wasteland. And it certainly is needed..
is the exterior of that building going to look like that or is that some kind of a temporary cladding, Chris?
Chris: Temporary Ayush, it will look like the building on the left
Very different, I imagine, for what it looked like 150 years ago!
Chris: Totally Tom, they used to make Stothert & Pitt cranes hereabouts
Progress marches on...
Chris: Yes it does Larry but I suppose it could be worse..

You might get lucky and see it sink slowly into the mud, Chris.
Chris: Some hope..
It will not be by chance the tower of Babel that in the background? smile
