Those daffodils proudly show off! A nice garden setting with that statue. I enjoyed the birds!
Chris: I put this picture up because I always feel the beginning of March is the start of springtime. In reality it is nothing like this at all. But we can all hope..

The daffs will not be put off by a little cold weather...
Chris: The daffs won't, she won't but I will. It was minus 5C last night and blowing a gale..

Spring is female in our language, in French ... - but I like the lady greeting the first daffodils.
Chris: Among the daffodils she seems to be welcoming spring Philine. In reality it is deep winter here in Bath

St Davids Day is an unofficial benchmark for daffodils. They are quite patchy in central southern Hampshire this year and the croci are struggling, too. I hope the lady has a coat to wear if the Best of the East gets to the Wild West.
Chris: Everything is struggling; I am struggling.

But nothing lasts forever..

She is going to get tickled when the vegetation starts to grow again, Chris
Chris: Ooh!
A nice woodland creature would look better than this battered nude
Chris: I think she's seen better times..

I thought that you would have called this, Waiting for Trim.
Chris: Is he interested in daffodils Chad, or maybe women?
Today is the first of spring in the meteorological world. I have been hearing chickadees using spring calls. Marvelous garden piece. Love the video.
Chris: Here we have heavy snow..

A lovely sight and sound of spring.
Chris: May favourite time of year Anne
Oh that my garden looked like this instead of being decorated with that pesky white stuff! Sadly, living on a modern estate, we never get to hear birdson like that on the video.
Chris: We get birdsong at home but this is because we have mature woodland at the end of the garden
I think 'Baby its Cold outside 'could have been the accompanying music today
Chris: Very much so Martin..

hopefully someone will be doing that
Chris: Yes hopefully they will Sherri
Here is my garden...
Chris: It is a place of mystery Larry

Like - who's the woman?
A lost lady
Chris: If this was today she would be lost with no hope of spring..
It seems to be intended to indicate the flowering of the daffodils
