I think it is the Avon (the Nadder isn't quite as wide)

A fine view across the river to one of England's cathedral gems.

As regards your question to Lisl, I'm trying to work out you exact location but I believe that you re very close to the conference of the Avon and the Nadder. Looking at the flow of the water, I would suggest you are just upstream of that point and this then will be the Avon. The Nadder will come in from the right slightly further downstream.
Chris: Thanks Alan
A fine place with one of the best known cathedrals
Chris: Lovely isn't it

Chris: I would go further than what you say Comrade. My beautiful study of this fine City is HUGELY better that the miserable effort of W J Phillips (no relation)

Dang fine chocciebox here old chap!
Chris: Much obliged to you Ole Thing!
This is a viewpoint one doesn't usually see. The video is magnificent, I can only imagine the atmosphere in the cathedral as the procession and beautiful music filled the building.
Chris: The Cathedral was built for this sort of ceremony
