I can feel the crispness in the air!
Chris: This was a very cold winter morning taken on my walk into Bath Elizabeth
I like the misty atmosphere and the repeated shapes...
Chris: And in the distance is the shape of Bath Abbey Larry

Oh...wonderful image, Chris!
Chris: There can be a great deal said for crisp, cold winter mornings with a low sun..
Jolie atmosphère avec ce soleil pâle.
Chris: Winter mornings can be a delight Martine

I like this atmospheric image very much.
Chris: Thank you Philine. This picture was taken last winter as I walked into Bath

This is very fine Tiff. It is well balanced too. We have the light on the ubiquitous Georgian terrace, the trees on Beecham Cliff, the Abbey church with light capturing the smoke that partially hides the tower. Then we have the line in the foreground, which looks like it could be a washing line by its colour, but looks as if it should be a telephone line, though it is slack.
Chris: All lines lead to the pole Chad

Do I see a sort of "cliff" in the background?
Chris: Yes indeed you do Lisl, it is one of a Beechen persuasion
This is a fine atmospheric picture and is very greeable
Chris: Without the steam I don't think it would add up to much..

One of my favourite times of the year. the early light illuminates the wonderful buildings on the right; so many chimney pots.
Chris: There is a lot to be said for low sun and low winter temperatures

low light low temperatures and you avoided the low life
Chris: I usually try to
Worth getting up for such a view, pity such days seem few and far between at the moment
Chris: Especially today, windy, misty, wet..
Quite a confluence of wires.
Chris: Yes it certainly is..
This one deserves to go into your 'My Best Images' folder, the winter light is beautiful and the Abbey being almost a shadow in the background is to me the focal point being right on the thirds.
Chris: Oh thank you for this Brian. I guess from what you say a judge might like it..
Lovely lighting
Chris: All thanks to nature Tom
