Chris: How would you like THIS in your Christmas stocking??!
A giant foil worm?
Chris: Something like that, in an art place in Munich..
A gift wrapped Droitwich sausage
Chris: This was originally going to be your Christmas present but I couldn't get it into my car..

I thought it was a extremely large toffee from one of the billions of sweet tubs sold during eh festive season; the sort of toffee that rip out all your fillings.
Chris: Because I have to avoid over-sweet things now I'm in my dotage I no longer experience the pleasure of my fillings being ripped out by toffee..

Reading all the comments and your replies is a real pleasure - I thought of Hercules' or Obelisk's club or a bomb?
Chris: It could be any of those things Philine but the truth is we encountered this thing in an art establishment in Munich and have no idea what it is meant to represent..

I thought that this might have been Britain's first submarine Tiff.
Chris: Gift wrapped for the nation Chad
I would be dying to know what is inside. Wrapped so tightly, I assume it is clay.
Chris: I'm afraid we never found out Mary
I'm not even going to try and guess what this represents.
Chris: Good idea Brian..

Erm.... I don't want to share what my first reaction was when I saw this....and I have to enplane that we just watched CNN New Day and the main topic was Donald Dump. So I might think this is an extension that Donald Dump has on a certain place... he thinks the world of himself and I know it should be the nose of Pinocchio but in Hollandshire we always indicate something else.... a golden d***.... shhhhhhh you did not hear this from em of course.....
Chris: Well I never heard of this phrase before Astrid...hehehe!
A gold-wrapped torpedo...
Chris: Every home should have one..
Someone is getting a very large bratwurst for Christmas!
Chris: Well...err...
