Oh, we are in Wells - one of my most loved towns in England! Merry Christmas, Chris and Jackie! Thank you for your Christmas card, too!
Chris: Wells is a delightful place Philine, I like to visit on market day

What.. already? What happened to November and the rest of December? I wish you and Ratty a splendid day; I like your tree.
Chris: All went a bit quick, didn't it..

The tree is only on hire

Merry Christmas to you Chris and Jackie. I have fond memories of our day in Wells. I hope Ratty does not climb the tree though....
Chris: After a VAST breakfast Ratty will sleep until this evening

Jackie is at the farm and I am here listening to Beethoven and doing this.

We will go for a walk this afternoon and eat a good meal around 5pm

Have a GREAT DAY too XX
My favourite cathedral

Have a great day
Chris: I'm sure you will too: merci
Lovely image, Chris. I do love the amazing structure of churches and even the big Cathedrals. I have just opened a mysterious parcel and discovered that you have sent me a lovely wooden spoon to do all sorts of ‘stirring’.I used it to help cook my porridge on the stove .. and yes you know what happened ... don’t you.

Have a really good day both of you.
Chris: Thank you Richy

The wooden spoon is to celebrate the fact you always seem to come SECOND - or worse - on Chad's weekend blog

Have a good day!
A typical Christmas scene - no snow!
Chris: Very rarely do we get snow Tom but the Mendip Hills above Wells would certainly get some most winters
Beautiful image, remarkable towers of the cathedral that rise above the roofs of the houses, Merry Christmas, smile
Chris: This is Wells Cathedral Claudio: a merry Christmas to you too
Happy Christmas Chris.
Chris: And to you and Maureen Brian
You've got it all covered. Merry Christmas, Chris.
Chris: Have a good day today - cats too - Mary
