The gal seems well trained, Chris...writing in a book with a pen, rather than scratching a message on the wall with a rusty nail...
Chris: I have heard rumours that Lisl is somewhat more than a pretty face Ray. At the drop of a hat she will write a potted history of her surroundings..
I love the light flooding in !
Chris: The place might be old but it is light and airy

I love this picture and I know you both enjoyed this place so much. What a wonderful light is flooding in.
Have a great day today and safe travels smile
Chris: Thank you Astrid. This picture was taken when Lisl & I did a church walk in Dorset last summer

Remind me where, please, Chris. We have visited so many churches....
Chris: Can't remember the name of it but it was the one we stopped at before Winterbourne Came in Dorset Lisl. If you remember its name please remind me..

I love the way the walls lean out Tiff, reminds me a bit of Home.
Chris: I told you to use a spirit-level Chad, but would you listen!

Oh, I recognise Lisl - I love the floral frescos in this medieval church. I would have liked to join you.
Chris: We had a lovely hot and sunny day Philine
What a delightful church this is Tiffo. I wonder what Lisl was writing?
Chris: Her name in a visitors' book
A beautiful space...
Chris: You'd love it Larry

I always thumb through visitors' book whenever I get a chance; it;s fascinating to see where people are from. There seems to be just the right number of chairs for the average Sunday congregation. I love the lamps.
Chris: Note the ancient wall paintings too
What great light, Chris. This place seems ageless.
Chris: Oh it really does Frank
With those thick walls, she is safe from anything but light.
Chris: Lots of natural light there Mary

What a peaceful and calm place this looks.
Chris: Rural Dorset Anne, a delight
Despite it being almost empty apart from our good friend Lisl it is a delightful little chapel.
Chris: It certainly is Brian
This is the sort of church structorial interior that I can seriously cope with.
Chris: Well I am pleased for you
Bare and simple - lovely.
Chris: Yes indeed so Tom
