This looks like lovely Wellow, and your title is well chosen
Chris: Not Wellow Lisl - where incidentally I shall be retracing some of our steps with Ann today - but Compton Dando, another delight of a place

This image could make my day, what a wonderful composition, I miss only some sheep.
Chris: But there is a cow Philine
What a charming rural scene, pity you didn't use a spare sky from the shed though
Chris: Of course I could have used HDR but didn't..
Superbe vue sur ces maisons entourées de verdure.
Chris: Thank you Martine: spring arrives!

Already I'm missing a vista including trees; almost non-existent here. Isn't Compton Dando some actor luvvie with the RSC?
Chris: Yes he is, currently appearing in Noel Coward's "Scones For Tea Again."
Your title sums this up very well, I shall have to start taking pictures of some of the nice places round my way.
Chris: Yes you will Brian. I bet your judges could be very impressed with local subjects

Sour old me - I wonder how many domestic tiffs per day in that idyllic place?

Less sour old me - I wonder if I can afford to live there. It looks idyllic. smile
Chris: I doubt if I could afford to live thereabouts Louis

Classic English countryside. Nicely done.
Chris: Not far from where I live: thank you Beth
There is nothing quite as beautiful to see as spring green. Your picture is the epitome of that.
I would like to roll down that hill...
