Strewth, Chris! Tall blokes, like you, are going to risk a nasty whack on the forehead if you lodge here.
Chris: He couldn't scrape enough cash together to get a full size door built..
Chad's going to have to fold in half to get through that door!
Chris: He is flexible.

Stupid but flexible..

Oh, he looks like your brother, Chris, only a bit taller than you, sorry, so that he had to bend devotely his head to get through the door. I assume that these are almshouses.
Chris: This is the birthplace of Sir Isaac Newton, the man who discovered gravity. Newton was an English mathematician and physicist who lived from 1642-1727. The legend says he appreciated what had not been appreciated before when an apple fell upon his noble head while thinking about the forces of nature. The tree still exists
Bill looks ready to swing his camera in self defence Tiff. I like Philine's comment.
Chris: She always comments well Chad, as you know..

Now if they had used a smaller lintel that could have made a taller doorway. So I trust the Mr Vestibule had the sense to say that unfortunately that he was full up when he saw you lot arriving? So this was the birthplace ion Sir Issac Newton; I hope you took the occasion with sufficient gravity and did not lark about.
Chris: Us lark!

We were honoured & privileged to have such outstanding accomodation

Mr. Vestibule shows some humility in his behaviour in my view fitting sgnalising in this way Newton's saying: "If I have been able to see further, it was only because I stood on the shoulders of giants."
Chris: I fine & noble saying isn't it
What? No basket of fruit (apples) or a bottle of champagne to welcome the wayfarers.
Chris: Afraid not Mary..
I look better from behind.
Chris: You look just the same from all angles..
he's a jolly looking fellow, I trust he made you all very welcome.
Chris: Very much so Brian
