Your local landscapes always look good, Chris
Chris: Remember this as we walked down to the stream near Batheaston church Lisl?

The typically patched and hedged English landscape _ I like the big shadows, too!
Chris: Taken on a parish walk in Batheaston with Lisl a while ago Philine
Hank or Bruce?
Chris: Oh dear..this wonderful land illustrated
Nice combination of slopes Tiff, the shadows are long on the foreground but only the tree is seen onyonder upwardly mobile slope.
Chris: I drew the shadow on the opposite slope with that ink you gave me at Christmas for the certificates Chad
These stone fences just slay me. Along with the shadows the large, green hilly field is transformed.
Chris: All down to light & shadow isn't it
I really like this Chris, especially the tree shadow where the base can't be seen.
Chris: Tank you Brian: competition material I wonder?

..and a bucket. The shadow from the tree on the right would make for a good photo in its own right. I'm intrigued by the bump in the walling - presumably to accommodate the slight rise in the field to its right?
Chris: It doesn't look as if the tree & shadow are connected but they are, the dip breaks up the image
A lot of them about!
Chris: Yes - hills, trees, buckets etc
