Quelle jolie vue, cette plage a l'air d'être immense.
Chris: This beach at Mudeford is enormous Martine
On a cold day too by the looks of things Tiff.
Chris: It might look like that but this was a pretty warm day last autumn Chad
A very nice winter beachy scene!
Chris: Thank you Ellie

An old bloke could get his wheelchair bogged here, Chris.

Beach is such a great place to be. I always have to look at shells. Great day for a nice walk.
Chris: It was a sooper day out last autumn Astrid. Lady K & I had a great day out there
Exactly the place where I'd have a lark, Chris. smile

Oh, Lady K. looks really happy - what a lovely walk along the beach! Are we in Beer?

"Somewhere afield here something lies
In Earth's oblivious eyeless trust
That moved a poet to prophecies -
A pinch of unseen, unguarded dust

The dust of the lark that Shelley heard,
And made immortal through times to be; -
Though it only lived like another bird,
And knew not its immortality.
..."
Chris: This is Mudeford on the south coast Philine
The time of year when the dog walkers are allowed back on the beach
Chris: Yes indeed, and why not..

My sort of beach weather but look at all those crowds; far too busy for me. Is the bird image one of yours?
Chris: The bird image isn't mine but I put it there because

a) We were having larks on the beach

b) there is a bird called a shore lark
I love that so many people are at the beach in cold, windy weather. The lark makes a beautiful shot.
Chris: Tank you Mary
Great shot Chris, what a lovely stretch of beach, where is it.
Chris: This is Mudeford, just along from Bournemouth Brian

Lovely seascape, I expect there is lots to be found along that strand line.
Chris: Yes indeed there would be Anne. This was taken in autumn, I imagine in summer this place would be crowded
There's something Victorian about this shot smile
Chris: Lack of high rises in the background Tom?

So, she can really sing! Must be opera, otherwise the listeners would have been closer.
Chris: Well quite Louis..
even in a strong breeze it's great to walk the beach Chris...
the salt air brightens up our spirits....petersmile
Chris: It certainly does that Peter, thank you
they look like lots of shells...
Chris: I think so too Larry
