Very elegant with this lantern! Lol at Ray! (I had straigthened a bit the image)
Chris: It is elegant Philine, and look at the broad sweep of the drive beyond

I would be happy to enter or exit there, Chris. Where is it?
Chris: At the Holburne Lisl, looking into Sydney Gardens
Cela donne envie d'y entrer..
Chris: The entrance into the public park

Very inviting, too. I'm surprised that this in in Bath as part from the person holding the camera, there are no weirdos there.
Chris: There were but I shooed them away..
That is an entrance to entrance Tiff.
Chris: Indeed it is: thank you Chad

Very good Chris and The Entrance has a much better ring to it than The Exit. Again an excellent combination of title and photo making more than the sum of their parts.
Chris: Praise from you is balm to my soul Mike
My eye keeps being drawn to the stonework which has it's own special light.
Chris: This is the local Bath limestone Mary
It's the lamp above the gateway that I find really delightful, lighting the way for both in and out.
Chris: It is both decorative and practical isn't it

Whether you are coming or going this makes for an interesting image.
Chris: Tank you Anne, I walk under this arch and lamp several times every week
Ray is right this is the exit

If you stand the other side though it could be the entrance
Chris: I have stood on both sides of it

Nice gateway
Chris: Civilised Bath
Very nice, Chris - I really like archways - this one with a lantern in the middle is great!
Chris: I think this one is relatively new but it fits the gap very well
