What a beautiful sight. The texture of the tree with the light really is a great shot.
Chris: This is a very old Hawthorn tree Kay, a picture taken near Salisbury

Oh, this tree has seen many years and many persons, still alive.
Chris: The stories it could tell if it could speak intrigue me Philine

I can understand why this is a favourite area; it is a delight. The tree looks like is have been bashed over the years by one of the flailing hedge trimmer things.
Chris: I expect this tree could be a century old, or indeed even more venerable than that
That Hawthorn has seen a bit of action Tiff.
Chris: So has Richard Trim Chad

Walking at its best.
Chris: If you've got the right person with you then it's perfect..
A very nice scene
Chris: Wiltshire at its most wonderful Martin
Oh to be there right now - in that season. Sigh!
Chris: Yes indeed
