I can think of better things, Chris...smile
Chris: Same here. I can't remember why he was doing this..
Looks like he's creating some cool art!

I think he is going to end up with a pile of slate chips, Chris.
Chris: And then what Ray?

So many questions..

Ray's thinking what I'm thinking. How;s he going to make one of those arty things on the pedestal from this? This must be an old image form the 1900s; where are his eye shields, hi vis vest, safety gloves, hard hat and boots?
Chris: He is clearly indulging in extremely dangerous activity here..

I suppose he knows what he is creating, what a great space to have a workshop.
Chris: Several artists were occupying this large building in Bruton, Somerset, Anne
I suppose he is doing it as a destressing excercise Tiff.
Chris: I think he is hoping to make something of value Chad
I imagine he is doing it in the hope of making money Chris. Whereas there is an amateur Photographer magazine I have never seen an amateur slate cutter one
Chris: Yes he is an artist trying to make an honest buck..

The pencil drawings look more interesting
Chris: Ok then - I'll photograph THEM next time..
...and profit, presumably smile
Chris: You would think so Tom
part of a larger whole, maybe...
Chris: Yes - got to be part of something bigger Larry
he has skill and patience to cut a round shape out of slate.

Yes what to do what all the pieces leftover

Hopefully to create some art too.
