Very nice, Chris...I like how they've decorated the place
Chris: Isn't it gorgeous Elizabeth. I think the font is Norman
What a fabulous font, Chris...something I'm learning to look for straightaway.
Chris: This was taken when I visited this gorgeous building with Astrid earlier in the year Ginnie

I have been there some years ago- a huge, woolrich Abbey in this lovely 'Städtchen' in the Cotswolds. Did you contact this English lady?
Chris: No I didn't contact her Philine. This was on the occasion when I took Astrid here earlier this year. We had come from a big breakfast in Droitwich and were heading for tea with Chad & Norma

The font has seen a good few baptisms in time but the look of it, although it support looks more recent.
Chris: Very much so, it has been grafted onto the plinth

That font looks about as big as a hot tub, Chris!
Chris: I doubt if you could get in something this size with your best gal Ray, no matter how intimate your ambitions..

With the Font in the right place, by the look of it
Chris: Exactly the right place Lisl but the building itself is only a fraction of what it once would have been

Sprigs of rosemary on the font, now I wonder what that is all about. I like the hand clasp at the neck, nicely observed.
Chris: I am obliged to you Mike
Funny how one figure on the font has been carved out but not the others.
Chris: I cannot explain that Mary
That is definitely a very old font although as you said the pedestal is a lot younger I think.
Chris: Yes it is Brian

That Norman must have been a big baby to require a font of that size.
