Chris: They did actually fire them later on and, I am pleased to say, the horses took it all in their stride
Some very capable looking ponies!
Chris: War horses Elizabeth
He is looking dead chuffed and quite harmless Tiff, unlike the bloke on the left who looks somewhat menacing.
Chris: Don't be fooled Chad, as a Parliamentarian you would be shot to bits by this Royalist army..

He looks a dead ringer for Bob Hope! I must have missed this movie ;o)
Chris: Hahahha - I didn't think of that
Very nice shot of the equestrians and friends. White horse has just been fed something wonderful.
Chris: And it is being very calm before the storm
Jolis costumes et chevaux.

On the Oliver Cromwell statue in the market place at St.Ives, Cambridgeshire, (we used to live there) Oliver wasn't as portly as this gent, I guess they didn't have Tescos, Waitrose, etc, etc.in those days.
Chris: Those were the days before mass market retailing Brian
