Two worlds here. clone out those two men and we are in a total era... Great shot.
Chris: I thought about cloning the old geezers out Astrid but I wanted this to be a bit of a then-and-now sort of picture

Sadly gone by - I love it to see the lady elegantly promenading - a gentleman should accompany her.
Chris: Yes indeed you are right Philine, where is her beau?

Somehow that costumed lady has given me a feel for how the place would have looked then, more than I have felt before. I shouldl add I often walk around Bath on the old flagstone pavements and picture who had walked there before. And then I "go down" a level and picture the Romans
Chris: Good for you Lisl, Bath is suffuced with historical vibrations..
She is in the perfect spot, Chris. Very nicely done.
Chris: Thank you kindly Mary
Shame about the guys in modern dress, this costumed lady fits in well with the building.
Chris: I wanted them there to show the contrast Brian

Such an elegant period. Life would have seemed much simpler then - probably.
Chris: Yes probably
It's like she stepped out of a time machine...
Chris: You're quite right there Larry
