Is it a triffid? Ah,. no, reading other comments, it produces courgettes. Amazing - I always thought they came from supermarkets.

Looks like this could feed the five thousand if they had wanted some courgettes to go with their loaves and fishes.

That's pretty cool. Will it live through the winter? I grew potatoes in pots this year.

Maureen grew some of these in our front garden last year, not a vegetable I enjoy so they lasted her quite a long time.
Chris: It has to be said they are not bursting with taste as the best of times..
