Your title implies something less than the music of the spheres...
Chris: Err..I didn't want to get too personal Larry
the four legged conductor might be exasperated, Chris.
Chris: Hahaha - very good Ayush
Everyone gets an "E" for effort!!
Chris: Precisely Elizabeth, all need encouragement

Jolie scène. J'adore voir les musiciens qui jouent dans la rue. Ceux-ci sont très jeunes.
Chris: Young and making a really good effort

Love the scene and we all started somewhere in time....
(I will write over the weekend)
Chris: Yes we all start somewhere Astrid. I love finding little groups like these to photograph
For some it appears to be more tortuous than for others, Chris? Seriously, I have a feeling if everyone tried to play "their own music," they'd be pleasantly surprised. smile
Chris: I think you are right Ginnie

Hmmm.. I'm detecting more enthusiasm than expertise. The dog gives the impression that it's really heard more than enough.
Chris: The dog would rather hear "I love a good heap of sausages" played by the Droitwich Town Band, conductor W J Phillips (no relation)

How differently they all sit to play, Chris
Chris: And look at the expressions too Lisl
The dog seems to like it
Chris: I refer you to the reply I proffered to Mr A Rolfe of Pricerite Mansions, Greater Scumsville
It is good to see all these budding musicians Tiff. Is the dog concentrating hard so that he does not miss his moment in the music to bark?
Chris: I wish I tad taken up an instrument in my youth Chad
I love that the dog's ear is open to the music. His leashed companion has her ears open as well.
Chris: Everybody is listening to one thing or another

I see both Phillipses are having a monochrome day, today. Much like the weather which has turned from sunny and bright to drizzly and grey.
Chris: Here in Bath we have SUNSHINE, at least for a while Penny
Good to see young people being encouraged to do this sort of thing.
Chris: I agree with you Brian
Well at least they are making an effort, Chris, whatever the result.
Chris: Indeed so Frank. These events are just made for photography with everyone distracted
A Bath version of an Irish band?

The surface of the pavement suggest they have been playing in the rain. I gather they are in the process of tuning their instruments, getting ready to play The War Requiem, Op. 66 by Benjamin Britten, which in essence is a critique on a British folly. I just love it when youngsters show this kind of unbridled enthusiasm for musical instruments, other than the DVD player.

A lovely sit in the sun whilst twiddling, Chris...when the music is ready it will make an appearance.
