A pleasant street scene...
Chris: Occasionally we do get a nice warm summer evening Larry.
J'aime beaucoup la lampe au dessus du portail.
Chris: The hedges & ironwork imply status Martine

I love the brightness of the hedges and the elegant entrance of this house -the Bathian stone shines in the evening light.
Chris: Thank you kindly Philine, this was taken in Bradford On Avon in mid evening last week
An ethereal glow I am detecting?? Torchwood?
Chris: I used Photoshop's ethereal evening glow feature Rob..
You have pressed that HDR button again haven't you ?
Chris: Actually this is only a single image shot, as most of mine are, but I admit I may have been slightly carried away trying to create what Rob calls an ethereal glow..

Is this considered 'posh' I mean this positive. Love the hedges and the ironwork, I would have loved the evening stroll with you....
Chris: Had you been with me I would have been in heaven..

Yes this is posh. It is in Bradford on Avon, where we were last year Astrid

They are hardly different from Winter ones here, Chris...but yours go on a few extra hours I believe.
Chris: Up until around 9pm
I can feel it from your shot. I wish we could bottle it to take out during big winter storms.
Chris: Indeed so
Cant be,its not raining....
Chris: This is the odd exception Frank
This is a fine shot Chris, a lovely house and the lone lady walking down the street really finishes the picture off, with nobody at all it wouldn't have worked IMHO.
Chris: I only took it because of the figure Brian, without which it would be pretty pointless

Very pleasant, too. Get rid of the yellow lines and I can just imagine Beau Brummell walking along.
Chris: It has definite period charm certainly
Is that still a family home or is it all apartments now?
Chris: Given the posh-ness of Bradford on Avon it is probably a single family dwelling
This does look like a lovely summer stroll...
Chris: I couldn't resist recording it Elizabeth
