One of those Living Statue installations...this is an excellent one, as the observer cannot help thinking Free Jane is about to come revving out of that raincoat in her Austin7...

Or, something...
Chris: I think this person was taking sun protection perhaps a little too far Ray

One wonders how things will go from here. I doubt he is interested in the Free Jane walking tour...

a special sort of Burka -a homeless person?
I would like to join the Jane Austen Walking Tour.
Chris: You would love the tour I'm sure Philine. As you know, JA lived or stayed in Bath
it's hard to describe ones feelings looking at this....
classic bench shot though sir.....
The "Kenny" dude is a mystery...
Chris: Just showing the varieties my native city contains Rob
(sigh) But at least he looks prepared for anything?
Chris: I think you're right Ginnie

Has there been some sort of nuclear holocaust? It seems to have had something to do with time travel, too, judging by the character taking people to see Jane Austen.
Chris: The man in the foreground is worried that the effects of ultra violet solar emissions might affect his delicate complexion. The man in the top hat isn't worried because UV has yet to be discovered..

What an odd get-up, Chris
Chris: Good UV protection though..
This man is clearly prepared for all that Brexit will throw at us Tiff. Oh, also, I would like to contribute to the campaign to free Jane Austin.
Chris: She has been incarcerated in a prison of her own making Chad
Is this perhaps Richard Trim trying to be incognito?
Chris: If so he has succeeded, note the absence of frantic females
Before they free Jane Austen, they had better get to work freeing this fellow
Chris: I think he's happy as he is Mary..

My current series has the real thing on Thursday or Friday I think... I assume that this guy is making a political or social or economic or environmental point rather than actually just surviving.
Chris: I think he's just surviving Comrade..
Another of those strange things that happen in Bath?
Chris: An everyday occurrence Brian
i don't think that the bag person is waiting for the Jane Austen tour Chris...
quite the contrast....petersmile
Chris: I think he has other concerns in his life Peter..
No one dares to sit near
Chris: Yes - including myself
