...like watching a BBC TV drama...the screen doesn't change much!
Chris: It doesn't. Let's hope his sense of deconstruction is working at an optimum level..
i would prefer looking at the abstract paintings than at a video on a screen... good composition Chris!!
Chris: I am obliged to you Peter
Good eye, Mr Phillips!!
Chris: Glad you like it Elizabeth
Il se demande ce que cela peut représenter.
Chris: I am wondering too Martine..
I like this Tiff. That seat, if that's what it is. Looks too high, which makes me wonder how that lady got up there. Of course it could all be down to the angle from which you took it.
Chris: The angle is critical Chad

Nice juxtaposition, Chris
Chris: Thank you Lisl
I know exactly what Astrid would do there, Chris, but I'll wait for her to say it herself. grin
Chris: I await with bated breath then Ginnie

I can only assume that it was either raining so hard that it was impossible to go out or else so searingly hot that shows where melting on the tarmac; they are the only reasons that would make me seek shelter and see this "art"! I sincerely hope that no money passd hands for this.

You probably get the impression that this is not to my taste - you would be right! The back view of the woman and the inky blackness in the video room is much more to my taste.
Chris: And what would you like to DO to the woman in the inky blackness - JUST ANSWER ME THAT!

I wonder that Chad and Alan spoke of a lady - I see the back of a man with long, curly hairs, especially elder, in art interested men like those hairs.
Chris: Yes they do Philine, and yes this is a man

Nice pairing. Galleries are often more rewarding for people watching rather than the art.
Chris: Indeed so Mike, I often wonder what they are thinking when they look at these things
Perhaps she is looking for the meaning of like or testing out the furniture for an extended visit.
Chris: Yes perhaps..

I believe that the woman on the right, will make a great picture, when cropped with some of the black surrounding. It would be like one of the old artists.

Meantime, it does seem like a place to rest.

Maybe Allan drinks his beer outdoors. He never experienced the satisfaction of entering a pub.
Chris: Poor old thing, he's led a sheltered life..
He even has his artists hat on....Not a bad way to spend your day, Chris.
Chris: I am always slightly suspicious of Englishmen wearing berets Frank, I wonder if they are exercising a form of wish fulfilment..

Don't you wish people to sit down and look at my paintings, don't have a clue what it represents, neither do I an they pay for it.... Too bad I don't have the right name for being an artist.... Great shot though.
Chris: This was a sneak shot inside a gallery in Bristol Astrid
Nice one, Chris.
Chris: I'm glad you think so Tom
