Looks better with that sheen on the pavement, Chris...I can recall it looking like that!
Chris: This can become a depressingly familiar feature at some times of the year Ray but on the plus side that sheen adds an extra dimension..

Jolie composition. La dame assise à  gauche n'a pas l'air d'apprécier la pluie.
Chris: She is, as we say in English, sitting it out Martine..

But they cannot disturb the grandness of Bath Abbey and the hordes of tourists!
Chris: Nothing will stop the mass of humanity that daily invades the City Philine

I see that it is only oldies that use umbrellas
Chris: They are delicate Comrade, and they need protecting..
Bath Abbey in all its glory. The wet paving adds to the picture with some nice reflections
Chris: It does but I would never have taken this picture had the stoical looking woman not been sitting in the doorway
Ha ha I'm reading between the lines Tiff.
Chris: Obvious isn't it Chad
Typical, looks like the guy on the right has all the bases covered...smile
Chris: There's always somebody who does that Frank
I had plans to visit this place in the summer but things seem to be in a state of flux at the moment, but if I do please don't let it rain like this.
Chris: I will do my best Brian
There is one person unhappy about the rain, the rest taking it in stride. I love rain but not when it rains all the time.
Chris: This was only an isolated shower Mary
and everything all the more clean for that, Chris
Chris: Yes Ayush that is so

That;s what happens when you live in the south wesst. head north, far drier - more sheep, too.
Chris: You will observe this picture to be entirely sheep free

Always good for a spot of moody B&W but the Abbey looks fine in any format.
Chris: I would be horrified if I started taking this structure for granted Mike - God forbid!

Some of them are looking better prepared than others. As usual of course, you are well prepared for a great capture smile
Chris: It was the lady in the doorway who inspired me Anne
We get these too...
Chris: What Larry - rains, flagstones, women?
This looks more like a downpour!
Chris: A mere shower Tom
