Chris: I cannot explain the man on the right Elizabeth, perhaps he is selling something..

Bring back the top hat, I say!
Chris: Do not encourage me Lisl.

He might be the towncryer , but nobody listens to him.
Chris: That would be a pointless life wouldn't it..
When I see the old Hands Dairy Tiff, I think of ice cream, clotted and double cream, and hot mugs of Horlicks. Perhaps the most enjoyable thing was the aroma around the place, a sort of paradise for me.
Chris: My mother used to take me there as a child for ice cream. I used to envy the sight of knickerbocker glories in those tall glass vessels, I was told when I got older perhaps I could have one.

But it never did..
Handing out pamphlets is a great way for a retiree to make a few extra bucks. Something to think about...
Chris: A way of passing the time certainly Mary
I must admit I'd rather wear the cap.
Chris: Same here Brian

Now then, we'll have none of that taking the mickey out of flat 'ats from Lord Snooty!
Chris: Blimey - I remember Lord Snooty & His Pals, what a piece of class-based hatred that was..
