I like the fairy-tale like atmosphere - Sleeping Beauty's castle - psss!
Chris: Everybody will see something different in this Philine. It is part of a bridge that once took a tramway transporting stone up on the hill down to the canal in the valley

Taken on one of the few good days last winter, Chris
Chris: One of the very few Lisl..

Chris: Or sprayed with cold coffee, which gives much the same effect
Wonderful photo! i like it!
Chris: That is very kind of you Roland
It might be a home for a creature and it makes me wonder about what animals England has. Do you have bears?
Chris: Heavens no, only in zoos
There must be loads of old structures like this all over our country slowly falling in to disrepair but also an interesting history.
Chris: Very much so Brian, thank you
very appropiate use of the sepia chris. Is this near dunster?
Chris: This is near where I live in Bathampton Sarah. Stone used to be mined above us on Hampton Down
Nice treatment, Chris.
Chris: Thank you kindly Tom
