Jolie composition. On a l'impression qu'il y a deux photos, l'église à  droite et le peintre à  gauche.
Chris: Thank you for your fine observation Martine

I wonder if we are looking at some yet-undiscovered master who will be revered once he;s no longer with us? It's a concern I have in that my photographic genius will not be recognised it until I've shuffled off my mortal coil. The varnish applied to the paving gives the impression that it is raining; very clever.
Chris: It never rains in Bath so I had to create the impression that it does on odd occasions
I can't get past that stonking great pillar cutting the picture in half
Chris: I agree in is an unfortunate inclusion. My cloning skills however do not allow me to convincingly remove it. And the sodding authorities refused me permission to chop it down
Love the rain here, Chris. The painter has a pretty good spot (much like yours) to stay a bit sheltered. Very good and interesting shot.
Chris: Thank you kindly Mary
I've got to agree with Bill about the pillar in the centre so because of that it wouldn't win a competition, but we had a competition at my club last week called 'Painting' and for that I would have gone and taken this from behind the artist with that pillar just out of the right hand side of the picture and then it might have stood a chance.
Chris: I am sure you are right Brian
Hope he is using rain-proof paints smile
Chris: He'd need it on that day Tom..
