Sympa tous ces pigeons regroupés sous le banc.
Chris: Somebody has left food for them under the bench

There must have been some leftovers under the bench.
Chris: Deliberate feeding I suspect Philine, not something which is encouraged

It's a brave person who scatters seed for pigeons in this city, Chris
Chris: Well it is indeed Lisl, I'm surprised the gulls haven't noticed

Tourist frenzy as well
Chris: Quite so Comrade
Feeding pigeons is frowned upon these days.
Chris: I suspect you could be arrested for such a heinous crime in Bath these days
I think the fellow on the right has stopped so as not to enter your shot. But you got him anyway.
Chris: He's welcome Jacquelyn
I am baffled as to why those pigeons are all under the seat (where the food is) Tiff. Did someone sit in the wet to eat and crumbs feel through to the ground, or did someone place food specifically under the seat. I will be worrying about this all day now, unless you can explain.
Chris: Placed under the seat to be out of the sight and reach of gulls I suspect Chad

It could be gathering to discuss the coming referendum.
Chris: A comical theory Philine..
Looks like a pigeon party!
Chris: Par excellence!
Did I ever mention than when I worked at Kings Cross in the late 60's.I had to help organise legal Pigeon exterminations some weekends. I seem to recall we got in the region of 500 one weekend1
Chris: That does not surprise me one bit Brian

They can become real nuisances as they dive bomb in for food
Chris: Only the racing variety seem to have a good press Anne

Not sheltering from the rain then? I'm surprised to see an empty shop in the background.
Chris: The shop had just moved to LARGER and more EXPENSIVE premises just round the corner
we had pigeons when i was growing up and i like them very much, Chris.
Chris: Thank you Ayush
Not a good idea, feeding pigeons - they are rock doves and belong on the cliffs, make a dreadful mess in town. I had to put spikes along all the ledges of our house a few years back when they decided to try to take up residence!
Chris: They are an absolute pest Tom
